Still Coding...

The changes that represent Grazr alpha 9 (in my mind) optimistically should be ready by the weekend. I'd hoped to release them by tomorrow but I don't think that's going to happen. I keep thinking... that'd be cool, and starting a new feature before I have the last one completed. I guess that's the danger of a labor of love. :) I need to buckle down and polish the really important ones I've had in limbo for a while. I think some of the new features, while subtle, are pretty powerful. Some of the features are intended to support the really great ideas some of you have had, but to do so in as flexible a way as possible.

Traffic to the grazr server has actually gone down recently... I was concerned at first, am I losing the love? (was I getting the 'it's not you it's me' line?) but then on further examination of the statistics it turns out there were a a lot of "tech news sites" and "re-bloggers" that had grazr instances in their news posts as a sort of "looky here, this is Grazr". As those news stories chronologically dropped off of their respective sites the major traffic they brought with them vanished. I am however heartened that the important stat, how many people are *using* grazr on their blogs, sites, or as mini news aggregators continues to climb, all this and it's still in alpha! Again thanks to everyone for the feedback helping to make the panel better.
